In Memoriam: Richard Overman

Richard Overman, Region Product Development Manager at United Rentals Trench Safety and NUCA advocate, passed away June 17. He was 57.
“Richard’s untimely passing on June 17 will leave a very noticeable absence in NUCA and in America’s utility construction industry,” said NUCA CEO Doug Carlson. “He was an ardent supporter of NUCA and our national partner United Rentals, with his energetic presence at our national events always assured. He brought to our Conventions his quick-witted personality, always ready with support for our members and their businesses. You do not find enough people in an industry with his enthusiasm for supporting an organization like ours, and his loss will be felt at NUCA.
“Richard will be greatly missed by all of us in the industry and at NUCA. The thoughts and prayers of NUCA’s members and our association staff are with his family at this difficult time.” Tags: Obituary
