Harrison Western Announces Corporate Restructuring
Harrison Western Construction Corp. recently announced a number of changes to its organization to take effect immediately. The restructuring was due, in part, to the continued integration of Underground Infrastructure Technologies Inc. (UIT), which was acquired in 2015.
“We are pleased to recognize the outstanding leadership and value that each member of our newly promoted team brings to Harrison Western,” said Chris Hassel, President and CEO. “Our goal is to deliver high-quality engineering and construction to our clients and part of this happens through hiring and retaining the industry’s best talent.”
Hassel announced that Jeff Rumer, President of UIT, will become Senior Vice President of Operations for Harrison Western. Rumer will set operational goals and ensure business unit objectives are met and consistent with the needs and vision of the organization.
Also reporting to Hassel, Diane Jones was recently hired as Vice President Business Development and Marketing. Jones will develop strategies to build the company’s customer base, maximize brand awareness and advance the firm’s business objectives.
In addition, Dan Duche was promoted to Vice President Estimating, where he will oversee the procurement of new work.
Reporting to Rumer will be Eric Gavin, who has been promoted to Vice President Field Operations. In this capacity, Gavin will be responsible for all project management, fleet operations and safety.
Also reporting to Rumer will be Jason Buesing, Vice President of Operations. Buesing will be responsible for the administrative operations of the company’s projects.
UIT will continue to operate as a division of Harrison Western.
