NUCA Chairman’s Message: Worth the Investment

I would like to personally invite you to attend NUCA’s upcoming 2016 Convention, The Executive Experience, March 10-12 in Puerto Rico. Past attendees, including myself, believe that the value of networking with other contractors far outweighs the cost of the three-day trip and here’s why.

We all know we can’t be everywhere at once, but we can get everything at once by going to NUCA’s 2016 Convention — Get ideas.  Share ideas. Make friends. See friends. Have fun and write off the trip as a business expense.

With few exceptions, contractors in attendance are principals and high-level managers from across the country who face the same difficult decisions you do every day. We are a small, friendly, successful and welcoming group that values learning and sharing information and best practices. If you have never attended a NUCA event, you’ll find that members are always happy to see new faces, and they will quickly bring you into the fold of the NUCA family.

If this would be your first convention, it would be a pleasure to personally introduce you to the exceptional group of contractors that come to NUCA events. Nearly all first-time attendees find a way to return year after year, and I am sure you will know why at the end of this convention.

If you’ve been to a recent convention, I hope this message reminds you that it is worth stepping out of the office for a few days to talk shop with other contractors. These meetings re-energize me, and I come home with new ideas and ready to tackle company issues. I view these trips as an investment in the future of my company.

The location of this year’s convention, the El Conquistador Resort in Puerto Rico, is just another benefit. Warm and sunny, this resort is among the best and most beautiful in the world. So, leave work and the cold, dreary weather behind for three short days and come see what our conventions have to offer.
