NUCA Launches NUCA DIRT for Its Members
The National Utility Contractors Association has developed a Damage Information Reporting Tool (DIRT) that will allow NUCA members to submit their reports more easily and quickly. The virtual private DIRT software is an attempt to improve contractors’ standing in relation to the Common Ground Alliance’s (CGA) DIRT. It uses CGA’s DIRT form and includes some additional fields that will allow the organization to collect information pertinent to its members. NUCA asks that its members input data about one-call notification, location or excavation practices that are not sufficient, as well as other root causes of utility damage.
