NUCA of the Carolinas Holds Blasting Class

The NUCA of the Carolinas Safety and Risk Management Committee hosted a blasting class Jan. 25, sponsored by Carolina CAT and BRS Inc. Instructor Allan Greene from the North Carolina Department of Labor (NCDOL) taught North Carolina codes and federal OSHA standards, in addition to blaster qualification, storage, drilling, transportation, loading, firing and misfires. The class and the lunch that followed were a big success, with more than 25 attendees.
