Petticoat-Schmitt Civil Contractors Announces Staff Changes
Petticoat-Schmitt Civil Contractors, a construction firm specializing in water resources, public works, and site development projects, announced the promotion of Brandi Manning to Director of Team Development, and the hiring of Ronique Gibson, LEED AP, as Business Development Coordinator.
Manning will oversee talent acquisition and the onboarding process at the firm. “I’m excited to support Petticoat-Schmitt in a new role concentrating on recruiting and retention — one of our strategic initiatives for 2024,” said Manning. She joined Petticoat-Schmitt in 2018 and has gained experience in multiple departments including Human Resources and Operations. With a passion for fostering employee engagement, Manning is ideally suited to lead Team Development.

In her newly created role, Gibson will leverage over 25 years of experience in the A/E/C industry to identify new opportunities in Jacksonville and the surrounding region while growing and supporting the business development team.
With an architectural degree from Tuskegee University, Gibson’s unique experience in project coordination and marketing in both the public and private sectors positions her to strategically navigate the fast-growing Jacksonville market and provide clients with Petticoat-Schmitt’s expertise in crafting life-changing infrastructure for nearly two decades. “I’m looking forward to drawing from my architectural background as well as my marketing experience to help foster new connections with the community while nurturing relationships with existing clients,” said Gibson.
