Goodwin Honored as NUCA Associate Member of the Year
U.S. Pipe Director Wins Prestigious Construction Industry Recognition
The National Utility Contractors Association (NUCA) proudly awarded Phil Goodwin of U.S. Pipe its prestigious NUCA Associate Member of the Year Award, honoring his work on behalf of the industry.

“Phil pours his heart into this industry, and we’re genuinely thrilled to honor him with this well-deserved recognition,” Barrett added. “Phil is a passionate advocate for America’s utility construction industry, and we are very pleased to give him this great honor.”
As the Director of Government Affairs for NUCA National Partner U.S. Pipe, Goodwin builds on more than a decade of success where he inspired and guided company teams towards excellence. Beyond his operational professionalism, Goodwin fearlessly advances industry interests through government affairs, advocating at the federal, state and local levels.
Since 2020, he has fueled U.S. Pipe’s strong commitment to NUCA, leading company sponsorship of the National Partner Program and spearheading support for the National Equipment Operator Challenge. He’s also worked to elevate workforce development and has actively served NUCA and chapter committees, attended events and engaged across multiple chapters.
Goodwin’s boundless enthusiasm, bold vision and genuine passion continue to motivate and unite professionals nationwide. It is with tremendous pride that we honor him as NUCA’s Associate Member of the Year for 2025.
The “NUCA Associate Member of the Year Award” is presented annually to an associate member who has made a significant contribution on the national level to the industry and the association.
The 2025 award was officially presented to Goodwin by NUCA leadership at the association’s 2026 National Convention held Feb. 10-13 in Tucson, Arizona.
