Stark Manufacturing Workforce Development Partnership Program at Barbco Inc.
Barbco Inc. was honored to host the inaugural plant site program of the Stark County (Ohio) Manufacturing Workforce Development Partnership on Thursday, Aug. 26, 2021.
This well-attended and informative event included numerous local manufacturers such as the M.K Morse Co., Lindsay Precast Concrete, H-P Products, Miller Weldmaster, Koch-Knight, Diebold Nixdorf, Solmet, and MT Systems, Powell, to name, a few. In addition, representatives from the Massillon WestStark Chamber of Commerce, the Canton Regional Chamber of Commerce, the Stark Economic Development Board, Great Works Employment, The Business Resource Network, and Ohio Means Jobs contributed to this productive meeting.
Stark County Commissioner Richard Regula gave an update on the US Route 30 expansion, which runs just to the South of the Barbco property. The program concluded with a demonstration of the powerful Barbco 48/950 Auger Boring Machine and tour of the Barbco facilities.
