Trenchless Technology Road Show, No-Dig Live Rescheduled for 2021
The organizers for the biennial Trenchless Technology Road Show have announced the rescheduling of the event to May 9-11, 2021. Originally slated to take place May 19-21, 2020, at the Scotiabank Convention Centre in Niagara Falls, Ontario, the show was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The 2021 event will take place at the same location.
It was separately announced that No-Dig Live, originally set for Sept. 15-17 in London, U.K., has been moved to March 23-25, 2021.
Trenchless Technology Road Show
“Please join us to celebrate the end of social distancing and exciting recent trenchless industry advancements,” said Mariana Balaban, program chair, City of Toronto, in a press release.
With a new date set, the show’s organizers – Benjamin Media Inc. and the Centre for Advancement of Trenchless Technologies (CATT) – will communicate with all of the sponsors, exhibitors, speakers and registered attendees about our plans to continue to grow and promote the show.
Over the coming weeks, they will contact speakers to confirm their participation and will announce the revised program as soon as possible. “We have a lot of work to do and we are excited to do it and to get to work on it,” Balaban said.
To continue to promote the Trenchless Technology Road Show, CATT is launching a new series of monthly webinars – known as the Virtual Trenchless Technology Road Show.
These 60-minute-long webinars will be free, as an added show bonus, to all show sponsors, exhibitors, speakers and register attendees. For those not registered for the Trenchless Technology Road Show, each webinar will cost $50 for CATT/UESI members and $75 for non-CATT members.
Thus, people registered with the Road Show will receive at least a $500 value at no cost, as a thank you for their continued support.
The Virtual Trenchless Technology Road Show webinar series will highlight program topics, speakers and exhibitors registered with the Road Show in 2020. The first webinar, which is to be announced shortly, will be on May 20, the same day the 2020 Trenchless Technology Road Show was to be held.
The organizers are in the process of contacting all sponsors, exhibitors, speakers and attendees with additional information on next steps and how to get a refund should they require one.

No-Dig Live
The organizers for No-Dig Live 2020 announced that, due to the ongoing global pandemic, the event must be rescheduled to 2021.
Due to be held Sept. 15-17 at the East of England Arena & Events Centre. The new dates are now March 23-25, 2021.
“A safe and successful No-Dig Live 2020 for all concerned — that is our primary concern,” said the press release from the Westrade Group, the show’s organizer. “Due to the still unforeseeable circumstances, this objective is unfortunately no longer feasible.”
The decision to postpone the event was taken to ensure a duty of care to everyone involved in the show, including staff, exhibitors, visitors and suppliers.
“The support from exhibitors has been phenomenal and the 2020 No-Dig Live was due to be the biggest yet. However ensuring the safety of everyone involved is my number one priority and of course delivering a high quality visitor level,” the press release stated. “I believe holding No-Dig Live in March will meet all priorities including exhibitor and visitor expectation and provide the springboard to the trenchless and underground infrastructure sector.”
The UKSTT Gala Dinner & Awards Ceremony will again be part of the No-Dig Live extravaganza and will take place on March 24, 2021. A change in date also means more time to get award entries in to make for a spectacular evening.
