In Memoriam: Dave Nicoli
NUCA of Washington announced with deep sadness the passing of Dave Nicoli, CEO of DP Nicoli, Inc., at the age of 70.
Nicoli dedicated his life to building DP Nicoli into one of the Northwest’s most trusted trench safety and shoring companies. For over four decades, he led with vision, integrity, and an unwavering belief in people.
In 2022, Nicoli achieved one of his proudest milestones: transitioning DP Nicoli into a 100% employee-owned company. His decision to sell the business to its employees reflected his lifelong commitment to shared success and ensuring the future of the company would remain in the hands of those who helped build it.
Beyond the business, Nicoli was a mentor, a friend, and an inspiration to all who had the privilege of working with him. His legacy of leadership and generosity will continue to guide DP Nicoli and the people he cared so deeply about.
Nicoli is survived by his family, friends, and the hundreds of employee-owners who will carry forward his vision.
