Nomination Forms and Applications for NUCA Awards Now Available

Nomination and application forms for NUCA Awards of Excellence, Community Service Awards, William H. Feather Safety Awards and Chapter Merit Awards are now available to download and print from the NUCA website at www.nuca.com/awards.

Is there a NUCA contractor member who you believe has made a significant contribution to the association and the utility and excavation construction industry in 2014? Is there an associate member that you believe has done the same? Then be sure to download NUCA’s Awards of Excellence Nomination Forms and nominate them for Ditchdigger of the Year or Associate Member of the Year.

If you are a NUCA member whose philanthropic efforts have made a significant impact on your community, then please download the application for NUCA’s National Community Service Award.

Contractors who have demonstrated their commitment to worker safety through company programs, training and a strong safety record should download NUCA’s William H. Feather Safety Awards applications. Safety Awards are presented in five categories according to man-hours worked, plus a 6th category for an overall winner. Please note that your company’s safety record should be good, but does not have to be perfect to submit an application.

Chapters that have provided a variety of support to their members, NUCA, the industry and their communities may download NUCA’s Chapter Merit Awards applications. These awards are given in several categories: Special Events; Legislative/Government Relations; Educational Programs; Periodical Publications; Website; Community Service (William H. Clausen Awards); Outstanding Contribution by a Chapter President; and Outstanding Contribution by a Chapter Executive Director (Jeffrey Hanson Memorial Award).

All awards will be presented during the Auction and Awards Gala at the NUCA 2015 Convention.
