NUCA of Colorado Has a Great Day of Service

More than 20 NUCA of Colorado members, including family members, volunteered to do light repairs and heavy cleaning at the 45-room Ronald McDonald House in Aurora, Colo., on Nov. 9. Ronald McDonald House Charities provide a “home-away-from-home” for families so they can stay close by their hospitalized children at little or no cost.
“It was so rewarding to help these folks whose children are so sick and the whole family is dealing with the trauma and stress of the treatment process,” said Julie Massaro, NUCA of Colorado’s Executive Director.
Member interest in this charity has grown considerably since last year, tripling the number of people working on this year’s projects.
