NUCA’s 2016 Trench Safety Stand Down
A special shout out to both NUCA members and nonmembers who participated in NUCA’s first annual Trench Safety Stand Down (TSSD). Your efforts to take a few minutes out of your work day to talk with your crews about trench safety shows your commitment to keeping your workers safe and the industry injury-free.
NUCA’s first TSSD was a great success: 28 companies participated, reaching more than 2,000 workers on more than 170 worksites. These companies have shown their dedication to worker safety, and, in taking the time to participate in the 2016 TSSD, have done their part to help prevent and reduce excavation accidents and injury.
