SUCA Celebrates 50 Years
The Suncoast Utility Contractors Association (SUCA), the NUCA chapter representing over 100 member companies across Florida’s west-central counties, marked a major milestone with a memorable 50th Anniversary Celebration at the iconic Fenway Hotel in downtown Dunedin. Members and guests came together to toast five decades of success, friendship, and industry leadership while enjoying beautiful Florida weather, great food, and plenty of shared memories and laughter.
The evening offered the perfect mix of lively and laid-back. Inside, the elegant ballroom set the stage for a fun rock band that kept the celebration going, while outside, guests gathered on the patio under decorative lights, relaxing on comfy couches and enjoying cigars in a classic Florida setting.
A highlight of the night was recognizing outstanding contributions to our industry. Congratulations to our award winners: Manufacturer of the Year – Bud Shores; Contractor of the Year – Jenny Jordan; and the Chairman’s Award – Bill Bocchino. SUCA was also honored to recognize and welcome attending past Chairmen and NUCA National Presidents, whose leadership and dedication have helped shape SUCA over the years.
