John Deere

Caterpillar

Caterpillar recently updated its M Series medium wheel loader product line for 2016. The product updates include all new Cat Connect Technologies, additional safety features and reduced operating costs. The new Product Link Elite system is now offered as standard equipment providing faster cellular and satellite connection capabilities. In addition, the standard machine is shipped from the factory ready to accept the Cat Production Measurement system. Version 1.2 of the system now indicates when the linkage is in the weighing range, allowing operators to confirm that an accurate scaled weight is being determined. The Cat Object Detection System is integrated into the standard display. This radar system increases the operator’s awareness of obstacles up to 52 ft behind the machine. The system uses market-leading capability, speed-based zones and provides five proximity-warning levels which increase in intensity and frequency as the “stop zone” warning area approaches. Komatsu America

Komatsu America’s WA270-8 wheel loader features a powerful 149-hp Tier 4 Final engine. The WA270-8’s parallel-lift linkage, with auto tilt-in to simulate a Z-bar, can be used in virtually any application from pallet handling to hard digging. Case

The Case 721F wheel loader delivers best-in-class horsepower, faster throttle response, greater fuel efficiency and simplified maintenance with a reliable SCR-equipped 6.7-liter Tier 4 Final engine. The machine comes standard with limited-slip axles for optimal traction and four programmable power modes. Volvo

Volvo’s L45H and L50H compact wheel loaders are built with fuel-efficient features and improved hydraulic flow and are designed with the operator in mind. Hyundai

The Tier 4 Final-compliant HL900 wheel loader line from Hyundai Construction Equipment Americas includes the HL955 model, with a 33,995-lb operating weight, 3.7-cu yd bucket capacity and 197-hp Cummins QSB6.7 engine. It also is available as the HL955XT extended reach model, providing greater reach and higher dump height for more efficient loading of trucks and hoppers. The HL900 Series wheel loaders achieve up to 5 percent greater productivity and 10 percent lower fuel consumption than the previous 9A Series loaders. Kubota

Kubota’s new R30-Series includes the R530 and R630 and brings more features and more power in a bold new design to the company’s wheel loader offering, helping power the company’s growth in the construction equipment market. The R530 is the most compact of the new R30-Series. Featuring a 51-hp engine, the R530 is larger in size than the prior model with a larger bucket and a maximum bucket breakout force of 7,761 lbs. The R630 is Kubota’s first entry into the 60-80 hp range, raising the standard for Kubota wheel loader performance and opening up new markets and extended applications.
