Runner up in the New Installation category was the First Creek Interceptor in Aurora, Colorado. Honorable mentions were the James River Crossing HDD in Hampton Roads, Virginia, and the Lake Ouachita Crossings in Hot Springs, Arkansas.

Front Street Interceptor

This year’s Rehab Project of the Year is the Front Street Interceptor in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. It is remarkable for its complexity and innovation. As the first major U.S. project designed using ASCE MOP 145, it pushed the boundaries of modern CIPP design. Unique downtown waterfront location with limited access, the challenges of lining large-diameter CIPP with unusual geometry and depths of up to 20 feet, and the innovative design methodology used made this $18 million project a standout, demonstrating flawless execution from all teams involved.
