NUCA of Ohio Presents ‘All I Want For Christmas Is Infrastructure’
On Dec. 13 about 40 people gathered for NUCA of Ohio’s “All I Want For Christmas is Infrastructure” Holiday Gathering at Old River Tap and Social in Rocky River, Ohio. NUCA of Ohio is the local representative organization of the National Utility Contractors Association (NUCA).
The event included a guest presentation from the Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District (NEORSD) delivered by Danielle Giannantonio, Legislative Affairs Manager and Lita Laven, P.E., Project Manager III, Engineering and Construction.
Giannantonio updated attendees on the infrastructure bill (IIJA/BIL) and how the District is working to help its member communities procure funding. Laven covered the NEORSD’s capital improvement program – particularly Project Clean Lake, the District’s 25-year program that will reduce pollution in Lake Erie by 4 billion gallons per year and its Local Community Sewer Improvements program.
