Barbco Executive to Lead Stark County Manufacturing Workforce Development Partnership

The Ohio Manufacturer’s Association issued a March 2, 2021, press release proclaiming that “Stark County Set to Join Ohio’s Network of Manufacturing Workforce Partnerships.” The newly formed Stark County Manufacturing Workforce Development Partnership is led by two longtime area manufacturing veterans: James Batchelder of The M.K. Morse Company, and Thomas W. Schmidt of Barbco, Inc. In this new coalition, Batchelder will serve as President and Schmidt will serve as Vice President.
Schmidt is the Vice President of Business Development at Barbco, Inc. He is a seasoned manufacturing veteran with many years of leadership in numerous local plants including Harrison Paint, Heinemann Saw Company, and Georgia Pacific.
