We’re in Germany, covering the biggest construction show in the world #bauma2016

bauma trade show people

We’re full of schnitzel and pretzeled bread, and we’re prepared to tackle the largest trade show on the globe. Simply called bauma (spelled all lower case like that), the global equipment- and construction-focused trade fair happens only every three years in the only place big enough to hold it — the Messe München exhibition center in Munich. Some of the booths for this show are so insanely big (we’re looking at you Liebherr) that exhibitors started building them in November for the one week show April 11-17.

The Utility Contractor crew will be here all week covering the sights, sounds and the newest iron being released into the global construction market. How big is the show? Well, attendance numbers for the last show were something like 600,000 people. Just look at the line to get in above. Insane, right? Luckily, you don’t have to fly to Germany and fight the crowds to learn what’s being released. We’re over here doing it for you. So strap in, grab your mouse and let us bring all the news right to your desktop. To follow all the bauma news, just look for the #bauma2016 in the title or click the link below.
