Kansas City Dozer Day Returns With Family Fun, Career Exploration Opportunities

The National Utility Contractors Association‘s Greater Kansas City Region chapter announced that the Kansas City Dozer Day will return Oct. 24-25, 2026, at Truman Sports Complex, offering families an opportunity to experience construction equipment and learn about careers in the industry.
The annual event allows children and their families to climb aboard construction machinery, sound horns, move dirt and interact with industry professionals. Organizers expect thousands of attendees over the two-day event.
In addition to the public event, Constructing Careers Day will be held Oct. 23. The workforce development program is designed for high school seniors and connects students with contractors, suppliers and industry leaders. Participants can explore career opportunities in utility construction, excavation, heavy equipment operation, project management and skilled trades.
Event organizers are seeking sponsors for Dozer Day 2026. Companies that commit to sponsorships by Aug. 31 will receive additional general admission tickets and volunteer T-shirts as part of an early-bird incentive program.
Summer special admission tickets are available through Aug. 31 for $12 each. More information is available at KansasCity.DozerDay.org. Tags: NUCA Greater Kansas City Region
