Barbco Inc., a leading manufacturer of capital equipment for the trenchless excavation, horizontal directional drilling and underground manufacturing industries, announced that Omneity Innovations has added four new staff members. Omneity Innovations was spun off from Barbco last year and serves as Barbco’s in-house Engineering and Machine Field Service staff.

The four newest members bring a varied skillset gleaned walking differing paths.

Michael Swope began working his way through school as a Millwright apprentice in the steel mills around Canton, Ohio. He has experience at billion-dollar companies in the transportation sector of the economy., including Hendrickson International and Bridgestone Firestone Corp. Swope decided to take the leap into small business, using his professional skills and managerial experience to manage the engineering, sales, service, and production departments.

Tami Clark comes to Omneity Innovations with a combination of careers in sales, education, music, and ministry. All of these combine as she reaches beyond Barbco’s and Omneity’s current clientele to uncover others who need the specialization Omneity brings. Clark will continue to volunteer with flag and drill teams this fall, as an adult advisor for a girl’s fraternal organization, designing and creating the media for her church, and leading prayer studies.

Angelo Cico, Omneity’s draftsman, found this career exploring woodworking, steelworks and training in engineering, polymers and design. Becoming a stronger draftsman and designer, using new software to strengthen problem solving and team building skills with his work is the appeal of Omneity Innovations.

Matthew Honnaker was recently a student at the University of Mount Union studying Mechanical Engineering and entrepreneurship. Prior to joining Omneity, he maintained employment on a mowing crew and other general labor jobs, and had previous experience as an intern at the City of Alliance Engineering Department.
