Pendley Named ‘Associate of the Year’ by NUCA
NUCA announced that it has awarded its “Associate Member of the Year” honor to Chad Pendley of U.S. Shoring and Equipment.
The National Utility Contractors Association (NUCA) announced that it has awarded its “Associate Member of the Year” honor to Chad Pendley of U.S. Shoring and Equipment.
Pendley will be presented with the “Associate Member of the Year” award at NUCA’s Annual Convention & Exhibit, being held this week in Tucson, Arizona (Feb. 27-29). The Associate of the Year Award is presented annually to an associate member who has made a significant contribution on the national level to the industry and the association.
Chad Pendley has been a member of NUCA and its local NUCA of North Texas chapter since the local organization was founded in 2011. As an NUCA Associate member, he is highly engaged, always supportive and a consistent leader in all chapter initiatives. He is instrumental in the annual Live Trench Training Event. Pendley donated his time, equipment and labor and solicits his competitors to join NUCA for this important safety event.
Pendley is an active member of the chapter’s events committee, coordinated the chapter BBQ cookoff at the annual meeting, and been the host, sponsor and pitmaster for several other NUCA-hosted events. Chad also started and leads the chapter’s Clay Shoot, raising over $20,000 per year for the North Texas association.
Pendley has made significant contributions in NUCA’s trenchless program, serving enthusiastically on National’s Trenchless Technology committee. Pendley currently serves on the North Texas chapter board as the Vice President, Associate Member.
Founded in 1964, the National Utility Contractors Association represents over 1,700 U.S. utility and excavation contractors, manufacturers, and suppliers who provide the materials and workforce to build and maintain our nation’s network of water, sewer, gas, telecommunications, and electric infrastructure.
