Floway Reaches 90 Years of Pump Production

Trillium Flow Technologies Floway brand is celebrating its 90th anniversary. The international company provides vertical turbine pumps to the water and wastewater, oil and gas, mining and mineral processing, energy, and industrial markets.

Founded in 1934 as Fiese & Firstenberger Manufacturing in Fresno, California, the brand originally specialized in manufacturing pumps for the agriculture and farming industries in California. Over time, the company diversified into other industrial markets — even supplying parts for the United States Navy during World War II. Floway was trademarked in 1957 and became an official part of the Trillium Flow Technologies family of legacy brands in 2019.
