NUCA of Middle Tennessee Raises More Than $24,000 for Tornado Relief
It has been a challenging time for NUCA of Middle Tennessee. In addition to the impacts of COVID-19 outbreak, Middle Tennessee was still reeling from the devastation of the historic tornado outbreak in early March. There are however still many bright spots, and one of those deals directly in how many NUCA members stepped up and responded.
Last month Chapter President Matt Mingus of Team Construction sent out a Tornado Relief Challenge letter asking that each NUCA of Middle Tennessee member donate $1000, or an amount you felt was appropriate. In fact, our fellow ditch diggers to the south at GUCA, also asked their members to donate to this as well. As a result of that effort, NUCA of Middle Tennessee is thrilled to announce that a combined total of $24,250 has been raised!
The chapter sends special thanks the following companies and organizations that contributed a donation: Rock Solutions, Cleary Construction, Team Construction, Hawkins & Price, NUCA of Colorado, Portland Utilities, Vermeer Heartland and GUCA/members.
This money will go directly to NUCA of Middle Tennessee who were affected by the tornado.
