Submissions for the 2021 NUCA Awards Are Open

Each year NUCA members come together to recognize our organization’s best and brightest. Don’t miss your chance to earn the recognition of your peers for the great work you’ve done this year at NUCA’s 2022 Convention and Exhibit in San Antonio, Texas, March 2-5, 2022.

These awards are publicized to the entire membership (and more) in NUCA’s Utility Contractor and Business Journal magazines. Show pride in your work and programs and apply today for your industry-wide recognition!

Top Jobs
NUCA’s Top Jobs competition recognizes challenging, innovative, or unique projects completed with excellent results. All projects must have been completed between November 2, 2020 and November 15, 2021. Projects that involved serious injuries or fatalities are not eligible for this competition.

Chapter Merit Awards
Awarded to NUCA member chapters that support their members, NUCA, the industry, and their communities with outstanding quality publications, services, and events. Chapter events and activities must have taken place between January 1, 2021 and December 31, 2021 in order to be eligible.

William H. Feather Safety Awards
William H. Feather Safety Awards – Created to honor the contributions of the founding chairman of NUCA’s Safety Committee,William H. Feather, and to recognize the same commitment to safety demonstrated by NUCA members.

Awards of Excellence

Ditchdigger of the Year
Presented annually at NUCA’s Convention to a contractor member who has made a significant contribution to NUCA and the underground utility construction and excavation industry.

Associate Member of the Year
Presented annually at NUCA’s Convention to an associate member who has made a significant contribution to NUCA and the underground utility construction and excavation industry.
